Last week my Jimmy and I were at a bakery convention in a lovely, warm spot in Florida. The weather was wonderful, the ocean was beautiful, the sunshine made me tan, and the seafood was delish! We had a great meal at a place called The Crazy Flamingo. Technically it was a bar with a few picnic table, sushi, and yummy fresh seafood. I got a dish of clams, mussels, and linguine and Jimmy got the fish special. It was cheap too. What a deal. They even had WiFi and we Face Timed our kids while we were eating. They didn't think that was to great, but we sure did! I have to say one of my favorite moments of the vacation was eating breakfast on the morning we traveled home though. We were upgraded to First Class on our flight from Ft. Meyers to Minneapolis. Don't ask me how that happened but it did and it was wonderful! I love Delta! They serve Biscoff cookies too. It doesn't get better than that! Breakfast was served with china, and linen napkins, but the best part was that it was Raisin Bran. I thought it was perfect. I love Raisin Bran and I ate every morsel. Here's the best part though. I will alway cherish lifting my china bowl to my lips and slurping every last drop of milk out of that bowl. That's right folks! I drank my cereal milk sitting in First Class. Totally a redneck/Avonite move but that will be a memory to last me a lifetime. I'm sure James was so proud!
I wish Steve had a bakery so we could go to bakery conventions and out to eat at fun restaurants with you!
ReplyDeleteI would have slurped that milk out, too. First class sounds almost as fun as the warm weather!
